Not xat for the channel chat

Xat sucks and isn't supported on your phone or iPod. I suggest Freenode IRC, it's better and does a lot more than Xat. So we create an IRC channel on Freenode as #warcraftmc and we can chat there.

The xat channel is a temporary channel until we can get better

Forget about the Xat channel. Our IRC server chat channel is up! The only problem is that old messages aren't shown when you start, but if you need to post something like a bulletin board you still need to use Xat. The link is this: webchat(dot)freenode(dot)net/?channels=warcraftmc

If you are having trouble trying to join you first have to enter your nickname, make sure the channel in the box is #warcraftmc, and then do the captcha and press join. It is accessible from your mobile device too.
